Rishitha Chakirala

I've been in my field for 4 years now, and I've been at my current role for about 8 months. It's a new industry for me, the oil and gas industry, and I've been really enjoying it. The learning curve has been really steep. My experience has been kind of all around - I've worked with a CPG brand, I've worked with a bank, I worked with Amazon. It's kind of all out there, but I think all of those experiences are what shaped me and what made me as I am today. As a business analyst, my role usually involves talking with all the engineers, coordinating with the marketing departments, helping them with forecasting, building machine learning models, and apart from that, also just doing the regular responsibility of attending to any data requests that the external stakeholders or the internal stakeholders might have. I'm also just making sure all our informational postings are in regulation with the government bodies and that the information is up-to-date, making sure we're making the best use of the resources that the company has. It's a very creative role, and I'm just around talking to people, trying to make sense of things, and just converting that to the engineers.
