Rita Brown

Rita Brown owns and operates For Juice Sake, a juice cafe in West Hempstead, New York, which she launched in 2023 to emphasize wellness and preventative health following the loss of her mother to skin cancer. Drawing from nearly two decades of personal juicing experience and a successful media sales career where she earned over $400,000 annually through roles at WBLS, Essence, and other platforms, Brown applies her relationship-building and leadership skills to her current venture. She attended Kingsborough Community College and LIU Brooklyn campus, and her business has earned awards such as the Town of Hempstead Women in Business Award, Town of Hempstead Community Impact Recognition, Nassau County Legislature Recognition, and Legislative Alina Nix Women's History Month Women in Business Recognition Award. Brown also engages in community initiatives like monthly juices highlighting national illnesses and previously supported St. Jude's fundraising.
