Her Story

About Robin

Robin Aguirre serves as Co-Founder and Head of Marketing at Synergy V, an EV charging company she co-founded two years ago with her husband and friends. The company focuses on making charging infrastructure more reliable and accessible for businesses and operates in the U.S., Mexico, and soon Morocco. In addition to her role in the startup, she is President of the Guy and Shirley Lewis Foundation, a family philanthropy established by her grandparents that supports causes related to children, women, veterans, and the arts. Aguirre began her higher education at the University of Tulsa as a pre-med student studying biology before transferring to Montana State University to study physics and pre-med. She later returned to the University of Tulsa nursing program but left two semesters before graduation after becoming pregnant. She has emphasized the importance of trusting one's intuition and speaking up, particularly as a woman in a male-dominated industry.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Trust yourself and speak up for yourself. A woman's intuition is incredible. Society tells women to question themselves, but women should not. Try to say yes and trust yourself even if you've never done something before. Feel confident and worthy. It's never too late, even if you've raised kids.
