Her Story

About Robynn

My career has spanned about 15 years across multiple industries. I started as a financial advisor in finance, then worked as a healthcare representative, and now I'm in the field of technology where I serve as CEO, a position I've held since 2015. I've always followed the trends and been a bit of a trailblazer and visionary. My day-to-day is never typical - it's a balance between my professional and personal responsibilities, managing my schedule and annotating what critical appointments, meetings, and activities I must execute, while also integrating a little bit of wind-down time for me and planning for the next day. I've learned that work-life balance is always evolving and in flux - it looks different when you have a baby versus when you have a teenager, or when you're moving or launching a new product. I've figured it out in the sense that I accept that it's always going to be in flux and unbalanced, not always 50-50. My proudest achievements include launching my business, earning my Series 7 license, completing various trainings, and achieving my MBA. Recently, we launched an AI online tool, which is my current focus.

Ten minutes with Robynn

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I've ever received came from my mother, who always told me to let your dreams be your only boundaries. Think it, believe it, achieve it. It's like The Secret - read the book, The Secret. That's the advice I pass along.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would pass along the advice that my mother always gave me, which is to let your dreams be your only boundaries. Think it, believe it, achieve it. It's like The Secret - read the book, The Secret. That philosophy has guided me throughout my career.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The challenge and the opportunity is almost paradoxical. AI right now and technology is booming - there's a lot of talk around it, there's mass adoption around it, but there's also a lot of fear around it. So finding a happy mix, a happy medium, with integrating AI into both your professional and your personal life while maintaining your foundation and your values, I think, is both an opportunity and also a challenge in the industry and in society at large.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I'm moving into a space of impact work and legacy work, where it's not so much about the dollar, but more about helping others. Maintaining my foundation and values while integrating new technology like AI into my professional and personal life is really important to me. I'm also focused on readying myself more and more for retirement by doing meaningful work that makes a difference.
