About Rochelle
Rochelle Robinson is an accomplished operational resiliency and business continuity leader with nearly three decades of experience in financial services, compliance, and enterprise risk management. Specializing in business continuity, disaster recovery, crisis management, and operational resilience for the past nine years, she currently serves as a contract-to-hire professional at Rockwell Automation through Experis, where she partners with business units to develop disruption planning strategies, manage resilience initiatives, and implement innovative solutions that strengthen organizational preparedness. Robinson is also an advocate for leveraging artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, responsiveness, and long-term operational resilience.
Robinson earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee after beginning her studies at Iowa State University. She has further strengthened her expertise through professional certifications in business continuity, ACH operations, and product management, along with advanced leadership training. A recognized leader within her profession, she served as president of Business Resiliency Professionals of Wisconsin from 2022 to 2024 and remains actively involved with the organization. She is also the co-founder of Resilience Connected, an initiative dedicated to fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the broader resilience community.
Throughout her career, Robinson has been guided by perseverance, believing that success comes from refusing to give up and never accepting "no" as the final answer. She values authentic relationships and meaningful connections in her professional life while placing family and her faith at the center of her personal life. Passionate about mentoring and developing future leaders, Robinson encourages others to remain lifelong learners, lead with authenticity, and align their work with organizational goals to create resilient, forward-thinking organizations.

01What do you attribute your success to?
Never quitting, never take no for an answer. I've heard no a lot... I just refuse to believe it.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Always continue to learn and grow. Approach everything with as much authenticity as you can. Understand the policies and goals of the business and align yourself to what they need.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be true to who you are. Be as authentic as you can because that allows you to be different. Be the best version of yourself. If the career choice does not align, find the spot where you can be yourself and be happiest.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The industry is trying to redefine itself and evolve from traditional practices. Natural and organic risks in the world are becoming more severe, making this work more critical every year. Huge need for business continuity and resilience in corporate America.
