What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a combination of practical experience, academic learning, and personal growth gained through life’s challenges. My journey has been a true roller coaster, but my love for teaching and mentoring, especially in Early Childhood education, has always been my guiding force. Having overcome significant personal obstacles—including immigrating from Egypt as a child and learning English, as well as surviving cancer—I have developed resilience, empathy, and a deep commitment to helping others succeed.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is finding the right balance between technology and traditional teaching methods. While technology offers incredible tools and resources, it’s important not to lose the hands-on, personal approach that is so vital in Early Childhood education. This challenge also presents an opportunity to integrate the best of both worlds, creating a more engaging and effective learning experience for young children.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are continuous learning and staying proactive in a constantly changing environment. I believe in adapting, growing, and seeking new knowledge to remain effective, relevant, and able to make a meaningful impact.
