Romaine Etor Akapo

Romaine Acapo is a dedicated advocate for people with disabilities, committed to amplifying voices that often go unheard. Drawing from her own experiences as a woman with a cognitive disability, she works closely with individuals and communities to ensure their perspectives are represented in important meetings and decision-making processes. In addition to her advocacy work, Romaine has a background in graphic design, having studied at Brunchbank Community College in Colorado. She applies her creativity and attention to detail not only in her professional projects but also in her entrepreneurial pursuits. Romaine runs a personal jewelry business, E-T-O-R, where she designs and creates unique earrings and pieces that reflect her artistic vision and commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Outside of her professional and creative endeavors, Romaine is an active volunteer in her community. She contributes her time to local church activities, charity events such as 4–5K races, and youth programs for middle and high school students. Guided by her faith and a strong sense of purpose, Romaine is deeply committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of others through both her work and her personal contributions.
