Her Interview

Ten minutes with Ronnette

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to God first, and then to the people who have poured into me, giving me confidence and encouragement to keep going even when I mess up. I also draw inspiration from my parents' courageous steps in their careers, especially my mom who worked in the medical field and then cared for my sibling with special needs, showing incredible strength that motivates me to keep moving forward.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I've received is about consistency - keep working at it, maintain consistency, show up, and be yourself.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would advise young women to truly take on mentorship and not be afraid to lean on someone for support. It's important to have a support system and to do something you enjoy as an outlet to balance the challenges of entrepreneurship. Self-care is essential - be a little selfish for yourself in a good way.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest opportunity right now is the growth in the wellness and food market, with more people focusing on what they're putting into their bodies and seeking organic, health-conscious options. The challenge is staying in your lane and not deviating too much from the core items you're offering.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are consistency, having integrity, and treating people with love and kindness. How you treat people is really important - no matter who you are or what job you have, everyone deserves the same respect and kindness.
