Her Interview
Ten minutes with Ronni
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my upbringing and the values instilled in me by my father, who was a hardworking and dedicated role model. He taught me the importance of independence, perseverance, and taking responsibility for my own growth while also recognizing the value of being resourceful and seeking support when needed. These lessons have shaped my ability to navigate challenges, continue learning, and build meaningful relationships throughout my career. I believe true success comes from a balance of self-reliance, humility, and the willingness to learn from others.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to not take things personally. In sales, rejection is a natural part of the journey, and I’ve learned that every “no” is simply an opportunity to keep moving forward, learn, and grow. A “no” does not always mean never; often, it means not right now. Staying resilient, maintaining a positive mindset, and continuing to build relationships are essential to long-term success.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering my industry is to be authentic and embrace who you are. I’ve learned that success does not come from trying to fit a certain mold or pretending to be someone you’re not. It comes from recognizing your strengths, being open about areas where you can grow, and having the confidence to learn new skills or seek support from others when needed. Being willing to ask questions, find solutions, and continuously improve will help you build credibility, confidence, and lasting success.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges and opportunities in my field right now is adapting to change while continuing to grow. I am learning an entirely new system and giving myself the grace to navigate the learning curve. The industry has also become more price-driven, whereas it was previously more focused on value. My opportunity is to help shift conversations from simply focusing on cost to understanding the long-term value, quality, and relationships that make a true difference. By educating customers and building trust, I can help them see the benefits of choosing solutions based on value rather than just price.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are integrity, trust, and doing the right thing. I believe that the best decisions are not always the ones that result in an immediate sale; sometimes the best outcome is knowing that you acted in the customer’s best interest. I strive to put the needs of my customers and my company first while building genuine relationships based on honesty and respect. By earning trust, staying true to my values, and consistently doing what is right, I believe long-term relationships and success naturally follow.
