About Rosa
I've been in this position for the last 11 years, working with families helping achieve their goals for their children. We go to their homes once a week. I also have a real estate license for 17 years focusing on first-time homebuyers because I see the need. I got my AA in Education early childhood after being encouraged by a teacher while helping my daughter in preschool after moving from Santa Cruz to Stockton. I started real estate helping my ex-husband.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I enjoy what I do. You have to be a go-getter and determined to get it, have that hunger like when you're hungry you go find food. You have to have that angle on you to get it, to be determined to get it.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
If you are here for the money, this is not the area for you. You have to have patience, enjoy working with children and families, and have the heart to really wanting to help them. Love what you do or find another area that you love. Get educated.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Families don't have time for children because everything is expensive and parents work multiple jobs. In real estate, homes are expensive with high interest rates and not enough programs for low-income families. Opportunities are in education; school is the key to success.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The value of the family union, respect each other as a family, love the elderly people, honesty, and respect each other.
