Her Story

About Rosa

I have been in the radiography field for 22 years, and it has been a highly rewarding and transforming career.I spent 15 years serving as a Lead Technologist and, during that time, also stepped into an Interim Director role at another facility. Concurrently, I taught in a radiography program, successfully balancing professional responsibilities.

Before joining the Radiology Program. I worked as an Imaging Supervisor for three and a half years. Throughout my career, I remained committed to advancing my education while working full-time and raising my daughter, an experience that strengthened my resilience, discipline, and dedication.

For the past four years, I have served as a Radiography Program Director, a role that allows me to combine my passion for education with program leadership. My responsibilities include overseeing curriculum delivery, preparing and presenting lectures, managing student admissions and selection processes, monitoring academic progress, supervising departmental budgets, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.

What I find most rewarding is witnessing student growth and development, seeing them acquire essential skills and confidently transition into clinical practice. Contributing to their success and professional readiness continues to be the most fulfilling aspect of my work.
