About Rosa
Rosa Lopez serves as branch manager and universal branch manager at Members First Federal Credit Union, where she manages the Macungie, Pennsylvania location. She began her career in the financial industry with Wakovia in May 2007, initially in customer service, and spent about 10 years there as a high-performing banker before transitioning through roles at other institutions including MNC Bank, KeyBank, and a brief stint in solar sales with SolarCity. Rosa joined Members First approximately four and a half years ago as an assistant and was promoted, finding alignment with the organization's values of doing the right thing for members and supporting small businesses. She is actively involved in the community as a member of the Hispanic board of the Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and the SISU Helping Others committee. Rosa attributes her professional success to showing up consistently, pivoting quickly when needed, maintaining a positive attitude, serving with good intentions, and leading with love both personally and professionally. She advises young women entering the industry to walk into any room with confidence as if it was built for them, ask bold questions, build relationships, find mentors, and be intentional about learning. Her core values include family, integrity, growth, and community, and she strives to lead by example while viewing mistakes as lessons.

Ten minutes with Rosa
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to showing up and pivoting quickly. I try to start with a positive attitude and serving from good intentions, and really leading with love personally and professionally. If you work hard and you're consistent, you continue to master your profession, results are close by, and the sky is the limit.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Walk into a room like it was built for you. Be confident to ask questions, to be bold, and to remember that if they're there, it's because they belong there. Build relationships, find mentors, network, and be intentional about learning.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Family, integrity, growth and community. Everything I do is for my family. I try to be very intentional about leading by example, and showing them that failure doesn't mean failure. Mistakes can be lessons. Life can still be beautiful.
