About Rosalie
Rosalie Turner is an environmental compliance and policy professional with experience in water management, regulatory oversight, research, and public communication. She currently serves as Environmental Compliance Manager for the City of Saco, where she supports environmental compliance, pollution prevention, and water resource protection through permitting, code interpretation, and educational outreach with developers and business owners. Her background includes environmental policy research under a professor at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, project management, laboratory research, and writing mentorship. Turner holds a bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Planning and Law and a minor in Biology from that institution. She has completed training in water and wastewater law and compliance. Notable achievements include helping implement a city environmental water pretreatment program and being selected as a scholar for the National Water Policy Fly-In in Washington, DC, where she helped create and edit a policy brief. She is chair of the communications committee for the Maine Water Environment Association, a member of the Water Environment Federation, and a fellow in its Water Leadership Institute. She also mentors with the writing organization Girls Right Now based in New York City.
