Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my professionalism, strong work ethic, ability to learn quickly, and genuine connection with people—qualities that enable me to drive results, build trust, support others, and help advance company objectives.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I ever received was to always understand performance objectives and never be afraid to ask questions. Take ownership, be thorough, and seize opportunities for career growth whenever they arise. This advice was very valuable and has significantly contributed to my growth and development.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to be trustworthy, confident, work hard, and invest in your growth and development. Show up with a presence that reflects your professionalism, purpose, and strength.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

In HR, and especially in benefits administration, there are always both challenges and opportunities shaped by internal organizational needs as well as external market and regulatory changes. One of the biggest opportunities we see right now is strengthening how we support employees through clear communication, improved processes, thorough benefits administration, and an overall enhanced employee experience. I continue to play an instrumental role in advancing our benefits operations to capture these opportunities.

At the same time, a key challenge is remaining adaptable and innovative as policies, regulations, and workforce expectations continue to evolve. Successfully navigating this environment requires balancing compliance with a people-centered approach, continuous improvement, and strong company-wide collaboration.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are integrity, empathy, accountability, and professionalism. These values guide how I support employees, collaborate with teams, and navigate challenges, ensuring I approach every situation with fairness, clarity, and respect. I strive to uphold these same values in my personal life as well.
