Ten minutes with Rose

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the encouragement and support of my kids, my family, my friends, and my colleagues, including the mentors who have believed in me along the way. I couldn't have done it alone, and I still can't do it alone today — it's the support system around me that makes the difference.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The most valuable guidance I've received hasn't come from a single piece of advice, but from the actions of my mentors — including my current manager, Katie Butkus, along with mentors from CBTS and Roundarch Isobar. Their willingness to trust me and give me opportunities taught me more than words ever could.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell them that work-life balance matters. If you have the energy and the time, keep going and don't stop. Don't treat failure as the end of the road — it's only a minor setback, and there's always a way to work through it.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges I face is finding the time to manage my current responsibilities while also exploring broader opportunities in my career. This includes making room for self-care, something I've noticed many women tend to put behind everyone else's needs.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Etiquette means a great deal to me, both professionally and personally. I try to help others as much as I can, and if I don't have the answer myself, I make sure to point them in the right direction. Accountability and work-life balance are equally important to how I approach my day-to-day life.
