Ten minutes with Rose
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my faith in God, my family, and my friends. One of my biggest life challenges was living in Liberia at the age of 13, which taught me resilience and adaptability. My church has played a pivotal role in mentoring me and shaping the path I’ve taken in life. My mom instilled in me the spirit of excellence, which continues to guide everything I do. Professionally, my biggest career achievement has been learning how to market myself in the business world.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is: if it’s meant to be, it will be. This has helped me stay patient and trust the process in both my personal and professional life.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is to embrace who you are and be authentic. Your individuality is your greatest asset—own it and let it shine.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value the spirit of excellence and treating people as I would like to be treated. I actively support Our Children Inc., a nonprofit organization that helps children in Liberia.
I enjoy fashion, beauty, anime, music, and anything creative. I’m also a foodie who loves exploring new restaurants and trying new cuisines.
