Rose Lawrence

Rose Lawrence owns and produces the Caribbean Upliftment Network radio station, a role she has held since 2014. Her passion for radio broadcasting developed from her family's Caribbean supermarket business in Miami, where she began doing live commercials. After the business closed, she pursued radio full-time, eventually taking over the station following the passing of a co-host. In addition to her radio work, Lawrence has been teaching for 11 years and currently teaches second grade. She holds a teaching certification, an associate's degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology earned between 1984 and 1986, and completed studies in business advertising at Florida International University around 1988. Lawrence emphasizes professionalism in her broadcasting and finds great reward in uplifting her audience through music and empowering her students in the classroom.
