About Rose

Rose is a dedicated case manager, paralegal, and doctoral candidate whose career has been defined by a commitment to advocacy, public service, and empowering vulnerable communities. As a Case Manager with NJCDC, she supports individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, and substance use disorders by helping them secure housing, navigate essential services, and build greater independence. Her passion for community service was strengthened through her work with YouthBuild, where she served as both an AmeriCorps member and VISTA volunteer, mentoring young people facing homelessness, foster care transitions, and other significant life challenges.

Throughout her career, Rose has built extensive experience in the legal and administrative fields. She has worked as a real estate paralegal, legal assistant, administrative assistant, and office manager, gaining expertise in real estate transactions, legal documentation, client relations, tax administration, office operations, and conflict resolution. Her ability to bridge legal knowledge with compassionate client advocacy has enabled her to effectively support individuals while managing complex administrative and regulatory responsibilities. She is proficient in legal services, Microsoft Office applications, QuickBooks, tax software, and communicates effectively in both Spanish and American Sign Language.

As a PhD candidate in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management at Walden University, Rose continues to expand her knowledge of public service and nonprofit leadership. Her doctoral dissertation explores the role of trust and its impact on young people, reflecting her longstanding dedication to understanding and addressing the barriers faced by underserved populations. Guided by empathy, resilience, and a belief in empowering others toward self-sufficiency, Rose combines scholarship, legal expertise, and community service to create meaningful and lasting impact in the lives of those she serves.
