About Rosemarie
I've been in the acting field for 45 years, though my journey has been unique. For 30 of those years, I taught special education across different grade levels - high school, kindergarten, and third grade - which meant I could only pursue acting very part-time. After I retired from teaching in 2017, I was finally able to return to acting full time. My work involves intense periods of activity followed by quieter times. I just completed an 8-day shoot in San Diego where we worked 12-hour days, with some night shoots running until 2 in the morning. It can be rugged for an old lady, but when I'm busy with a role, I'm extremely busy, and then there might be a couple of weeks of nothing. The films I've recently been in have won awards at film festivals throughout the world. I'm a current member of SAG-AFTRA, the Actors Union.
