Her Interview

Ten minutes with Rosemary

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to doing work that I genuinely love and find meaningful. Rather than measuring success solely by financial achievements or the size of my professional network, I value knowing that people appreciate my ideas, welcome my contributions, and find meaning in the work I do. That sense of purpose, connection, and fulfillment continues to motivate me and brings me genuine happiness in both my professional and personal life.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have ever received is simple: “Do what you love.” I believe true fulfillment comes from pursuing work that genuinely matters to you rather than allowing money or outside expectations to dictate your career path. My own career reflects that philosophy, as I continue to do work I love, find meaningful, and believe makes a positive impact.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I encourage young women entering my industry to stand up for themselves and never accept disrespect or mistreatment. In professional environments, particularly those where women may be underrepresented, it is important to know your worth, use your voice, and ensure that your ideas and contributions are heard and respected. I believe in setting clear boundaries, speaking with confidence, and advocating for yourself both professionally and personally.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges and opportunities in my field is creating meaningful organizational transformation by integrating sound organizational principles with behavioral and transformational development. I believe lasting change must begin with leadership, which requires CEOs and leadership teams to examine their own behaviors and understand how they influence others. Through tools such as the DISC assessment, I help individuals gain greater self-awareness and improve their interactions. True transformation cannot simply be purchased as a program and handed down to employees; leaders must actively participate, model the desired behaviors, and demonstrate their commitment to change. When employees see their leaders embracing the same development expected of them, they are far more likely to trust and embrace the transformation.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me, both personally and professionally, are truth and authenticity. I believe in staying true to myself, my work, and the relationships I build with others. For me, meaningful and fulfilling work begins with authenticity, integrity, and a genuine connection to what I do.
