About Rosemary
Rosemary Colucci serves as the head of the project management team at Cleveland Investor Services, where she oversees home repairs, builds relationships with contractors such as plumbers, HVAC technicians, siding and roofing professionals, hires and fires them, and ensures work meets standards. She has six years of experience in construction and eight years in the beauty industry. Colucci holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Ohio State Business College. She is a licensed property and casualty insurance agent and a public adjuster who has fought for clients against insurance companies. Her expertise also includes interviewing and customer service, for which she received an award from Governor Taft for organizing a charity food convoy serving a three-county area through the Youngstown Community Cleaners Food Bank. Colucci attributes her success to her upbringing and faith in God. She values integrity, morality, passion, and a strong work ethic. She advises young women entering her field to work hard with strong personality and passion, choosing careers they would pursue even without pay. Her biggest challenge involves dealing with overseas investors who do not respect women in leadership roles in a male-dominated industry.

Ten minutes with Rosemary
01What do you attribute your success to?
My success is attributed to my upbringing of God. I love that.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The early bird catches the worm.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
You have to get on the ground, boots running. You have to have a strong personality and a strong passion about what you're doing. Pick a career if you could do it for free, you would do it.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Dealing with investors overseas that don't appreciate or respect women in a man's world. The people I deal with here, the investors in this country, love me. The ones that are just out of the country have a problem with having a woman oversee men.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, morality, passion, and a great work ethic.
