Ten minutes with Rosetta
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to God, my family, my ambition to achieve more, and my determination to overcome challenges. When someone tells me I cannot do something, it motivates me to work even harder and prove to myself that I can succeed.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to never stop learning and never become too comfortable where you are. Every position is an opportunity to learn something new, build relationships, and prepare yourself for the next opportunity. Over the years, I’ve learned that your career may not always follow the path you originally planned, but every experience can add value to your journey. I’ve carried that advice with me throughout my career, and it continues to motivate me as I pursue my MBA, prepare for my CAP certification, and embrace new opportunities.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering my industry is to keep learning, growing, and dreaming. Stay committed to your goals, pursue what you are passionate about, and remain open to the opportunities that come your way.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I believe the biggest opportunity in the administrative profession right now is learning how to adapt to technology while continuing to provide the human connection that organizations need. Technology and AI are changing the way we work, but strong communication, organization, leadership, and relationship-building are still extremely important. I see this as an opportunity to continue learning, strengthen my skills, and use new technology to work more efficiently while still bringing the personal touch and professionalism that I’ve developed throughout my career.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me, both professionally and personally, are faith, integrity, family, hard work, and service to others. I believe in putting God first and allowing my faith to guide how I treat people and approach life’s challenges. In my career, I value being dependable, continuing to learn, and giving my best in everything I do. In my personal life, my family is extremely important to me, along with giving back to my community. I believe success is not only about what you accomplish, but also about how you treat people and the positive impact you make along the way.
