About Roshni
Roshni Kamta is a Senior Integrated Marketing Manager at TOGETHXR with over eight years of experience in integrated marketing, brand strategy, and audience development across media, publishing, and agency environments. She specializes in building cohesive, cross-channel marketing campaigns that connect storytelling, culture, and measurable business impact. Throughout her career, including prior roles at Inc. Magazine and leading communications agencies, she has developed and executed integrated marketing initiatives that strengthen brand identity and deepen audience engagement.
In the past nine months, Roshni has transitioned into women’s sports marketing, where she focuses on elevating women athletes and expanding the visibility of women’s sports through strategic storytelling and brand campaigns. She works within a women-led organization founded by elite athletes, including Sue Bird, that is committed to reshaping the narrative and infrastructure around women’s sports. In this role, she also helps spotlight broader cultural and social issues impacting women, including women’s health and mental health, ensuring campaigns reflect both athletic excellence and lived experience.
Beyond her professional work, Roshni is a dedicated advocate for women’s health and cancer survivorship. As a breast cancer survivor diagnosed in her early twenties, she uses her voice and platform to support awareness, education, and empowerment within the cancer community. She actively partners with The Chick Mission, focusing on fertility preservation and access to care for patients undergoing cancer treatment. Through media features, speaking engagements, and panel discussions, she continues to bridge marketing, advocacy, and lived experience to drive meaningful awareness and impact.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the belief that every challenge has a solution. With determination, resilience, and a strong work ethic, I believe obstacles can be overcome and opportunities can be created. Success often comes from staying adaptable, thinking creatively, and recognizing that there is rarely just one path to achieving meaningful goals. Remaining open to new possibilities and approaching challenges with confidence have been instrumental in my personal and professional growth.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I've ever received is that every challenge has a solution. There will be moments when you question whether you're ready or whether things will work out, but with determination, perseverance, and a willingness to learn, you can find a way forward. Believing in your ability to adapt and solve problems builds confidence and helps you navigate even the most difficult situations.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be a sponge and never stop learning. Don't doubt your abilities and recognize that every experience including retail or roles outside your field provides valuable, transferable skills. Stay curious, seek out mentors, learn from those around you, and be open to new opportunities. Confidence, continuous learning, and a willingness to grow will help you build a successful and rewarding career.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
There are tremendous opportunities in women's sports, particularly in creative, analytics, and content creation roles as the industry continues to grow and attract greater investment. Increased visibility and fan engagement are creating exciting new career paths, while progress in areas such as compensation and benefits highlighted by recent improvements in WNBA player contracts reflects the positive momentum across the industry. It's an exciting time for professionals who want to help shape the future of women's sports.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Equity, resilience, passion, compassion, empathy, and determination are the values that guide both my work and personal life. I believe everyone deserves to be heard, respected, and given equal opportunities to succeed. I'm passionate about empowering women to advocate for themselves and pursue what they deserve. If opportunities don't exist, don't be afraid to create them challenge the status quo, build your own path, and open doors for others to follow.
