Her Interview
Ten minutes with Roshni
01What do you attribute your success to?
My success comes from my hard work and my parents pushing me to keep trying different things and look for more growth and opportunity, even when jobs pay low minimum wage and we're not happy. They always encouraged me to not leave one thing in my basket and to always push forward.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I received is to always start from scratch, and if you don't think the job is beneficial, stay at least four or five months to see the flow before going for something different. Jobs can always be there or not, but you need to find what your soul and passion really follows.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would tell young women to never stop giving up or quitting, always think for the best, be hopeful, and always think positive, and you'll grow successfully. You can always do this, because if people can do it, then you can do it too.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Growth is the most hard, and conquering skills can be challenging because we take contract and temporary jobs to get different skills and sometimes realize the job is not for us. The first two weeks in a new job market can be rough and challenging, but you just need to go through it and push forward. Everything is always challenging when starting anything new as a young adult figuring out what to pursue.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honesty, respect, loyalty, communication, commitment, dedication, direction, and motivation are most important to me.
