Her Interview
Ten minutes with Rosine
01What do you attribute your success to?
I just want to be able to make a connection. You never know when you will make a connection. And I feel like most of the time, we are bigger than we think we are, and it takes another person to see your talent, to see who you can be. So I just want to get out there and see if somebody can discover something bigger than I can see for myself.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best advice that I ever received... be yourself and listen. Actively listen to what your employee needs. If you're there for them, they'll be there for you... create positive environment and listen access to what they need. And be Have empathy for your associates. We all have a stressful life, so if you have an impactful for them, it makes them feel a little bit better.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Younger women, most of the time, we fear that we can't do what men do. We fear that we are not enough... Men, they think big. Women, we are detailed, oriented more than men, so we fit those gaps that they left behind. I will tell women to believe in themselves. They can do anything that they want to do... We have to go show those gaps. And make it better. Make their dream better than it was originally.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest are challenging for me, I feel like because we have a lot of people, it's kind of hard to be there for a lot of them, comparing the hours that we work and the shifts that we work. The opportunities is that the more people you meet so the people are the challenge, they are also the opportunities, because the more people you meet, the more connection that you have. And there is a lot of room of growth in my company that I'm in right now, because there are so many positions above me that I can grow into.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Be kind. I like to be kind to the people. And also Have a faith. Believe in something bigger than yourself. And I also have a dream. And if you can make somebody's day better, do so. I try to do that. Those are my waivers.
