Ten minutes with Roxana
01What do you attribute your success to?
What drives me? Well, you know, I'm very self-motivated, and I think I have such a strong need for progress in everything that I do. Right now, what motivates me the most is really doing programs, working in programs that make a difference in people's lives, using my expertise in creative communications, advertising and marketing, public relations and really making a difference, helping people, helping organizations that are really trying to help. It's more purpose-led communications, social marketing.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I think it's a really good field. I honestly think that public relations is one of those careers that no matter what changes happen in the marketplace with AI or anything, it's something that can really sustain the test of time. Understanding PR and messaging and crisis communications is more important than ever because a lot of this starts on social media. Communications is such a good career because it gives a really good comprehensive approach to the business.
