About Roxann
Roxann McCrady is a Merchant Services Consultant at Merchant Processing Solutions, where she helps small and midsize business owners navigate payment processing with greater clarity and confidence. Her responsibilities include reviewing merchant statements, calculating processing costs, identifying fees, explaining payment-processing options and requirements, and developing customized proposals. She also supports business development through outreach, relationship building, follow-up, and consultative selling. Her career has been rooted in customer service, with previous experience in industries including roadside assistance and senior-care services.
Alongside her work in merchant services, Roxann is developing her creative career in photography. She is pursuing an Associate of Arts in Photography at Anne Arundel Community College, where she is building skills in visual communication, composition, editing, and digital media. She incorporates these abilities into her professional work through logo design, client headshots, and other visual content. Roxann has also earned a Master Sales Closer certification and continues to strengthen her sales and business-development expertise, with plans to eventually pursue a bachelor's degree in business and combine photography with entrepreneurship.
Beyond her professional and educational pursuits, Roxann is committed to family, community involvement, and personal growth. She is a mother of four and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family through activities such as camping and ziplining, while also embracing new challenges and experiences. She has supported organizations including Wounded Warrior and participated in efforts to help people experiencing homelessness in her community. Guided by values of family, communication, and respect, Roxann continues to build a career that brings together business, customer service, sales, and her passion for photography.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to having a strong support system and the guidance of great mentors who have encouraged and helped me grow throughout my career.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is, “Don’t say you can’t do something if you haven’t tried it—try it!” Following this mindset has opened me to new opportunities and allowed me to enjoy many rewarding experiences, both at work and with my family.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Find great mentors, never give up, and always stay committed to learning and growth. Be open to feedback and take constructive advice as an opportunity to improve.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are family, open communication, and respect. I strive to carry these principles into both my personal life and my work.
