R. Simone Pero

I started my career in public policy working in Washington on working women's issues like the Family Medical Leave Act. Then I moved into corporate communications where I learned about storytelling and video and film. I launched my own business to marry public policy, corporate, and advocacy worlds together, equipping artists to put their art in the world in the context of making social change, with a focus on women's issues and films dealing with social issues related to women.
