About Ruby
I own a consulting company under the LLC name GBRLC that provides high-end entertainment consulting. I help venues increase revenue and assist with party planning including booking, bar, clientele, experience, sound, and photography. I ensure ideas are fully executed. Having worked in hospitality since I was young at bars, I developed a sense for what makes launches successful and started my own business in January. I've already completed three major events grossing around $80,000, focusing on elevated experiences in Philadelphia.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the desire to live a life that is as fulfilling as possible. I built my business to focus on profitable yet elevated events and high-quality experiences rather than a cash grab, ensuring everyone walks away feeling their money was well spent. I aim to create social opportunities and events that provide real emotions and experiences, elevating Philadelphia's scene.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would tell them to focus on not what exists, but what is needed. If there's anything in your life that you feel like you wish that you had, be that person, and kind of pave the way.
