Ruth Huaraya

Ruth huaraya owns and operates a minimarket in Boston, Massachusetts, where she sells natural and healthy products such as healthy cookies and butters. After graduating with a technical degree in accounting in her native Peru, she discovered a passion for commerce and sales while working in offices, internships, and supermarkets. She launched her business around 2020 or 2021 amid the pandemic, initially selling products on the street before opening a physical store. Ruth credits her success to her strong work ethic and dedication, which began in childhood as she assisted her mother, who traveled selling goods in the highlands of Peru where communication was limited. She values good presentation in all her endeavors, a lesson from a professor, and sees great opportunity in the growing demand for healthy products, which aligns with her personal commitment to health. Her goals include fully dedicating herself to her business, expanding it, and eventually creating a chain of stores to provide employment opportunities for others.
