What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a commitment to service. I strive to be the kind of support and guidance my clients or patients need, helping women see themselves in a new and empowering light.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is that there’s enough room for all of us to succeed. If you’re not invited to the table, create your own.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to know yourself—understanding your strengths and values makes you a better counselor. Always remind yourself why you chose this path and let that purpose guide your work.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is access—many clients either don’t know how to reach out for help or turn to social media for mental health support instead of professional care. At the same time, this presents an opportunity to educate and guide people toward reliable resources and support.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are authenticity, consistency, and respect. These principles guide how I interact with others and make decisions, ensuring integrity and trust in all that I do.
