Her Interview
Ten minutes with Saadia
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute much of who I am today to my father’s influence, my cultural roots, and the courage I found in challenging traditional expectations of women. My father was hardworking, disciplined, and deeply supportive. He taught me to value education, believe in my abilities, and never allow limitations placed on women to define the life I could build.
His faith in me became a quiet source of strength throughout my journey. It gave me the confidence to step beyond expectations, create my own path, and continue reaching for more. Choosing to carry my father’s last name is my way of honoring the man whose love, guidance, and belief in me helped shape the woman I am today.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have received is to avoid getting caught up in small issues and to learn to let go of perfectionism. In a male-dominated IT industry, I have often felt the pressure to prove myself, but I learned that focusing on growth, progress, and the bigger picture is more important than striving for perfection in every detail.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering my industry is to never give up on their dreams and to continue pursuing their goals with confidence and determination. I encourage them to dream in color—to embrace creativity, stay inspired, and remain open to possibilities as they build their careers.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest opportunity is turning technology into real business value—not simply delivering projects on time. The challenge is navigating constant change while keeping teams aligned, adaptable, and focused on what truly matters.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, empathy, growth, and accountability are the values I value most. I believe in treating people with respect, staying true to my principles, taking ownership, and always looking for opportunities to learn and grow.
