About Saanvi
Saanvi Diskalkar serves as an enterprise sales representative for the New York City-based tech startup Revivin', a role she transitioned into eight months ago after working in supply chain. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she studied supply chain, participated in marketing clubs and a sorority, and completed supply chain analyst internships with the Clorox company. Saanvi attributes her success to her coworkers, managers, family, and especially her parents, both of whom work in tech and serve as inspirations to her. She values maintaining a positive and professional attitude through the highs and lows of her work. Outside of her role, Saanvi volunteers with animal shelters, particularly for cats, through the Fulton County Humane Society and supports the Hearts Association. She is fluent in her native language of Marathi and has received first-place recognition for a DECA financial literacy plan as well as an LMU case competition on business ethics and sustainability regarding sustainable consumption of Coca-Cola in Mexico. Saanvi advises persistence in the face of a challenging job market and notes the growing influence of AI in her field.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my coworkers, my managers, my family, and especially my parents who both work in tech and are a big inspiration to me.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I've received is to keep going, persistence pays off, and never give up.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say just keep going and keep trying, because the job market is extremely hard right now.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The use of AI is a big factor in the field right now.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Keeping a good attitude no matter the highs and lows is most important to me, as there are always going to be lows but the highs make it worth it, along with maintaining a professional attitude.
