I attribute my success to dedication, hard work, and a positive mindset. By staying focused on my goals and refusing to give up in the face of challenges, I continue to grow, learn, and move forward with purpose.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to know my worth and believe that I can achieve anything I set my mind to. Consistently delivering my best work, building strong networks, and actively engaging in professional groups have been incredibly effective in opening doors and creating opportunities. Above all, I strive to make a meaningful difference through the work I do.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering my industry to ask questions, speak up, and confidently share their opinions. Don’t be intimidated by others—stand tall, be proud, and trust in your abilities. Additionally, take the time to do your research and have everything thoroughly prepared before presenting it to a legal team. While legal support is invaluable, making changes later can be costly, so careful preparation upfront is key to avoiding unnecessary revisions.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Right now, one of the biggest opportunities in my field is expanding my knowledge of new business start-ups and understanding the unique challenges they face. I’m actively learning as much as I can, while also leveraging networking and joining professional groups to broaden my perspective and connect with others who can offer insights and guidance. These experiences are helping me grow both professionally and strategically in a rapidly evolving landscape.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life include a strong eagerness to learn and grow, treating others with kindness and respect, and striving to be both an effective leader and a collaborative team player. Outside of work, I cherish my family and grandchildren, and I enjoy engaging in sports and creative pursuits like crafts, which help me maintain balance and fulfillment in life.
