I would say, at the time, and even now, it's my children, my husband, my family. My children witnessed me as a single mom trying to make ends meet, and going to school, and being a primary caregiver to my parents. And then my husband, he's been having his own health battles. For him to still stand strong and support me and push me, outside of what he has going on, I think that's huge for me.

Don't give up. And keep fighting for what it is that you want.

Don't stop becoming. Continue to grow. Continue to want more. I relate to the single mothers and those having their first child, showing them this is what I went through and there's nothing stopping you from getting there.

Getting a job that pays you your worth. I was laid off in November and it took 4 months to get a job despite being well qualified. The job market is competitive and disheartening when you check every box but they say you don't have the skill set.

Being clear with the expectations and honesty. If you're saying it's this, my expectation is that it's going to be exactly what you're saying. I don't mind shifting and maneuvering, but my expectation is what was promised.
