About Sabrina
Sabrina Begum is the ECD coordinator and lead trainer at the Rupani Foundation, where she has worked since October 2023. In this capacity, she leads trainings in early childhood care and development for child care providers, teachers, directors, and informal caregivers, including mothers and others working with children from birth to age three. Originally from Pakistan, Sabrina began her career after college by volunteering at Al-Amin Moral School and later worked with organizations such as Plan International before relocating to the United States in 2023. She holds a Bachelor of Education and a Master's in Philosophy, both from Pakistan, as well as a certificate in early childhood administration, Brain Builders certification from the Hackett Center, and multiple ECT certificates. Sabrina is a board member of Alamin Model School, a member of the Society for Environmental Education, and a former trainer with a Girl Guide group. She is fluent in Urdu and has received achievement certificates throughout her career.
