About Sabrina

Sabrina Haque serves as Manager of Supply Chain Optimization at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia. She joined the organization in 2016 and was promoted to her current role earlier in April after serving as a Supply Chain Operational Excellence Specialist. In this position, she builds operational excellence programs within supply chain, focusing on Lean Six Sigma principles, workflow analysis, process design, and stakeholder management to drive efficiency and cultural change. Haque holds a degree from Georgia Tech and began her career through a logistics leadership program at GXO Logistics, formerly Memo Logistics, where she gained experience in procurement, operations, continuous improvement, and project management. Her notable achievements include leading the rebuild and deployment of a tubing system across 73 rooms in the new Arthur M. Blank hospital, achieving over 99 percent supply availability. She credits her success to hard work, having moved to America at a young age, working through high school and college with work-study positions, as well as support from family and mentors including Faith and her current SVP Arvind. Haque advises young women entering supply chain not to be disheartened by the lack of female representation, noting that women are naturally equipped for the field's demands of building efficient systems.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Sabrina

01What do you attribute your success to?

A lot of hard work. I moved to America when I was young, went to high school and worked at Burger King, went through Georgia Tech with work-study positions, then joined the logistics leadership program. Family support and mentors like Faith who believed in me and opened doors, and my current SVP Arvind who invested in me with challenging projects.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Supply chain overall, you don't get to see a lot of women in it, so don't get disheartened. Women are built for this because we are constantly building systems in daily life. Don't be afraid to walk into challenging projects, ask for what you need and the next step.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Challenges: AI impact on workforce and integrating it thoughtfully in healthcare which is behind on tech; translating tribal knowledge into structured transferable processes. Opportunities: Cross-functional collaboration between supply chain and clinical teams to improve patient experience, breaking down silos.
