Her Interview

Ten minutes with Sabrina

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my faith in God. My mother died when I was young, I never had my father in my life, grew up with siblings as the last of seven, life was hard. But once I came into who I am in Christ and accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, my faith in God really propels me and pushes me above everything. My greatest motivator besides my family support and husband is my faith in God.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would say to her, the first thing your mind has to be that you're gonna succeed. God wants you to win. Have a mindset of success, be optimistic. Sit with it and look at your strengths, what am I good at, what am I really here to do, what is your passion. Focus on your strengths, know that you are unique. Grab opportunities, be teachable, learn along the way. Your support group is very important, be careful who you have around you.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Being an entrepreneur, I see challenges or obstacles as opportunities for me to grow and mature. I like challenges. I am an optimist. I base my life on the Word. I will prosper. Challenges come to make me strong and to mature. I don't view life negatively. If you have the attitude and mindset of overcoming, you will overcome.
