What do you attribute your success to?
I’ve always believed that life is about following your passions, and my journey has taken me from the fast-paced world of film and music to founding a childcare agency that aligns with my values and purpose. I transitioned from the entertainment world to pursue a greater calling: shaping and educating our youth. My agency focuses on faith-inspired caregiver placements, matching families with nannies who share our commitment to character, patience, and genuine care. For me, this work isn’t just a business; it’s a calling. I love seeing children thrive and families experience peace of mind, knowing their children are in the hands of someone trustworthy and caring.
Built on Christian principles, my agency balances licensing requirements across multiple states, close collaboration with legal counsel to create contracts, and ensuring that every caregiver-family match reflects the values I hold dear. I am always looking for ways to extend the positive impact of my work. Even when my day is interrupted by calls or other tasks, I stay focused on the heart of what I do—supporting children and families while maintaining the highest professional standards.
In addition to childcare, I specialize in professional staffing, connecting nannies and household staff with families in Massachusetts, Virginia, and beyond. Achieving Massachusetts licensing was a major milestone, and my faith continues to guide every business decision I make. Watching families and caregivers flourish together remains the most rewarding part of my work.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I always tell people that it’s never too late to pivot and follow a path that truly aligns with your values,” I often say. “If you feel called to something—whether it’s starting a business, changing careers, or pursuing a passion project—listen to that voice. It won’t always be easy, and there will be obstacles, but the reward of doing work that matters far outweighs the challenges.
I also advise others to be patient and intentional. Building something meaningful takes time, and success doesn’t happen overnight. Surround yourself with people who share your vision, seek guidance when you need it, and don’t be afraid to learn from setbacks—they’re often your greatest teachers. Be persistent. Don't lose sight of your goal. Continuously persevere. Have faith in all you do and always prioritize high-quality service that always strives for excellence.
Lastly, stay true to your values.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Building a business from the ground up has been incredibly rewarding, but it hasn’t come without its challenges. One of the biggest hurdles was transitioning from the fast-paced, creative world of film and music into the structured, highly regulated world of childcare and professional staffing. Learning the ins and outs of licensing in multiple states, understanding legal requirements, and navigating contracts with families and caregivers required a steep learning curve.
Another challenge has been balancing faith-based values with the practical demands of running a business. I wanted to create an agency that prioritized character and care, but I also had to ensure that it operated professionally, met all compliance standards, and could scale sustainably. Finding that balance wasn’t always easy, but it reinforced the importance of patience, perseverance, and trusting the process.
On a more personal level, juggling multiple roles—agency founder, business manager, and hands-on caregiver—has tested my time management and resilience. There were moments of doubt and days that felt overwhelming, but seeing the joy on a child’s face or hearing a family express gratitude reminded me why I chose this path.
Each challenge has been an opportunity to grow, refine my vision, and strengthen the foundation of my agency. They’ve shaped not just the business I run, but the person I’ve become along the way.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
In my case, faith and integrity guide every decision I make in my agency. When you stay grounded in what matters most to you, the work becomes more than just a career—it becomes a purpose-driven journey that can positively impact the lives of others.
