About Sai
Sai Kuppala serves as Compliance Manager at National Red Express, a medical logistics company focused on deliveries to pharmacies, hospitals, and providers. In this role, she manages patient data transfers to ensure HIPAA compliance, conducts audits and incident reporting, trains independent contractors and operations teams, oversees internal policies and procedures, and submits reports to federal bodies including HIPAA, OSHA, and DOT. With more than eight years in the healthcare industry spanning clinical and non-clinical positions, she previously worked as a compliance associate. She earned her master's degree in health informatics from the University of North Texas in 2024 and her undergraduate degree in dentistry from Dr. India Health Services in India. Sai is a certified compliance officer through ZCCA, also known as the Healthcare Compliance Association, and attributes her success to the support of her family in India.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My family back in India has been my driving force. They have always motivated and supported me even from a distance, and I know I can fall back on them as support.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Do not give up. Keep putting in the efforts, discipline, and motivation. Make sure you have your name on the work because credit can be stolen easily. One day you will blossom into whatever you are dreaming for.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Always be on the right side no matter what life throws at you or what circumstances force you. Never try to be wrong, always be accountable and do the right thing even if it hurts a little.
