About Saima
Saima Shafiq is a senior leader in banking technology and AI with over 20 years of experience in financial services and technology. She earned a Bachelor in computer science honors, focusing the last six months on artificial intelligence projects such as painting the neural network. She then pursued an MBA with finance and IT after recognizing the value of combining technical skills with business management and change management. As an AI executive, she has long worked in AI enablement and applied AI leadership, participating in keynotes and speaking opportunities on strategic adoption of artificial intelligence within organizations, improving productivity, and ensuring responsible AI practices.

01What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The joy and satisfaction that I personally feel in giving back. I want people to sense the same thing. It's so powerful to be able to do something for somebody else. The moment they realize the most satisfying thing in this life is to do something completely selflessly for somebody else, it is sort of an addiction. I sleep happy. I'm exhausted and tired and drained, but I'm so grateful.
