Saloni Agrawal (She/Her) is a results-driven Staff Supplier Engineer specializing in Polymer and Battery Systems at Lucid Motors. With a strong background in plastics engineering, lean manufacturing, and supplier quality management, she has consistently delivered innovative solutions across the automotive and manufacturing industries. Saloni holds a Master’s degree in Polymer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and is currently pursuing her Executive MBA at the California Institute of Advanced Management.
Her career includes pivotal roles at Tesla and Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems, where she successfully led cross-functional teams, optimized production processes, and implemented Agile methodologies as a Certified Scrum Master. At Lucid Motors, she plays a key role in driving supplier industrialization strategies that ensure high-quality sourcing, process efficiency, and product excellence for next-generation EV technologies. Her expertise spans PPAP, APQP, cost reduction initiatives, and injection molding techniques—making her a critical contributor to Lucid’s mission of sustainable innovation.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Saloni is passionate about lifelong learning and personal growth. She enjoys playing soccer, traveling with her husband, and staying active through Zumba and tennis. I attribute my success to choosing a field that I’m truly passionate about. Working in engineering and operations energizes me, and that alignment between my interests and my career has driven me to continuously learn, grow, and contribute meaningfully to every role I've taken on.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to not follow the usual path—instead, focus on becoming highly specialized in the area you’re passionate about. Deep expertise sets you apart and creates unique opportunities that a general path might not offer.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is: the sky is the limit. Be confident in your abilities, stay curious, and don't be afraid to take up space—when you believe in yourself, the best opportunities will follow.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges—and opportunities—in my field right now is delivering electric vehicles that offer both high range and exceptional reliability. Balancing cutting-edge technology with durability is critical to driving widespread adoption and advancing the future of sustainable transportation.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are authenticity and strong ethics—I believe in being true to myself and maintaining integrity in all that I do. Outside of work, I’m married and enjoy an active lifestyle that includes hiking, tennis, travel, and soccer, a sport I played competitively for over 10 years through high school and college.
