Ten minutes with Samantha
01What do you attribute your success to?
Probably stick-to-itiveness.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say you don't have to have it figured out right away. Give yourself some time, try some things, and if it doesn't work out, just keep going.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I think it kind of goes back to what you know, just to reiterate the whole concept of creating an environment and an experience and not just material. So it's one thing to what curriculum together, but it's another thing to create a space for that curriculum to be absorbed in a way that encourages the learner and isn't just so cut and dry or high pressure that learners aren't able to truly thrive.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Community, authenticity, experience.
