Her Story

About Samantha

I've always been drawn to building things that don't yet exist.

Throughout my career, I've found the greatest fulfillment in creating structure where there is ambiguity, aligning people around a common vision and transforming ideas into scalable business solutions. Whether implementing AI-powered workflows, building marketing infrastructure or leading cross-functional initiatives, I'm energized by solving complex challenges that create lasting impact.

I believe leadership is less about having authority and more about creating clarity. The most rewarding part of my career has been helping teams grow in confidence, strengthening collaboration across departments and building an environment where people feel empowered to contribute their best work.

I'm driven by continuous learning, thoughtful leadership and the belief that strong organizations are built by people who are willing to take ownership, embrace change and invest in those around them.

Ten minutes with Samantha

01What do you attribute your success to?

I've never believed success comes from having all the answers. It comes from taking ownership.

Throughout my career, I've consistently stepped into opportunities that extended beyond my job description because I enjoy solving problems, building new capabilities and helping organizations move forward.

Curiosity keeps me learning. Accountability keeps me growing. Trust is what makes leadership possible. Those principles have shaped every opportunity I've had and continue to guide how I lead today.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Stop waiting for permission.

Early in my career, I realized the biggest opportunities weren't assigned, they were created. The leaders who made the greatest impact weren't always the most experienced; they were the ones willing to step forward, solve problems and accept responsibility before they felt completely ready.

That advice fundamentally changed how I approach leadership and continues to influence every major decision I've made.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Never underestimate the value of your voice. Marketing today is equal parts creativity, strategy, analytics and leadership.

Stay curious, learn the business beyond marketing and don't be afraid to speak up even if you're the youngest person in the room. Your perspective may be exactly what's missing.

Find mentors, invest in continuous learning and remember that authenticity will take you further than trying to fit someone else's definition of success.

Build business acumen as intentionally as you build marketing expertise. Learn finance, operations and sales. The strongest marketing leaders understand how every part of the organization contributes to growth, allowing them to influence decisions well beyond the marketing department.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest opportunity isn't artificial intelligence, it's organizational adaptability.

AI is changing how we create, analyze and communicate, but technology alone won't create competitive advantage. Organizations will succeed by developing leaders who can integrate innovation into everyday business while maintaining the creativity, judgment and human connection that technology cannot replace.

Marketing leaders have an opportunity to help shape that transformation by connecting business strategy, technology and customer experience in ways that create measurable value across the organization.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity has always been my foundation.

I believe trust is earned through consistency, accountability and how we treat people when no one is watching. Whether leading a team, partnering across functions or mentoring future leaders, I strive to create environments where people feel respected, challenged and supported.

Success isn't measured only by business results. It's measured by the positive impact we leave on the people and organizations we're fortunate enough to serve.
