About Samantha
She is a distinguished early childhood education leader with over a decade of experience driving program excellence, instructional quality, and equitable access to high-quality pre-K across St. Louis. Currently serving as Associate Partner at The Opportunity Trust, she builds and supports a thriving network of early childhood providers through customized instructional coaching, professional development, and guidance navigating Missouri Accreditation. Prior to this role, she served as Director of Early Childhood Education at Saint Louis Public Schools, where she planned, organized, and supervised early childhood and special education programs, coordinated in-service training, managed budgets, and served as a contributing member of the Deputy Superintendent's Cabinet. Her career also includes serving as Pre-Kindergarten Teacher, Early Childhood Education Coordinator, and Pre-K Before and After Care Coordinator at Saint Louis Public Schools, as well as Lead Preschool Teacher at YWCA Headstart and Early Childhood Content Team Leader for Teach For America. She holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Maryville University of Saint Louis and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Park University. She is recognized as a visionary, equity-focused, and collaborative leader who is deeply committed to expanding access to high-quality early childhood education and increasing kindergarten readiness for students from underserved communities.
