About Samantha

Samantha Quinones owns Paw and Prosper, a business she founded this year after more than 12 years working in digital marketing for agencies and corporations. She specializes in SEO and LLM visibility for the animal wellness industry, primarily serving veterinarians, holistic health practitioners for animals, and nonprofits such as rescues and shelters. Quinones earned a Bachelor's in Marketing from UTSA and an MBA in business with a focus on sustainability from CU Denver. She is a member of Women of the Summit and the Search Atlas community, and she volunteers with the Frisco Animal Shelter, Lone Star Animal Welfare League, and Active Paws Rescue. Quinones attributes her success to her parents, noting her father's strong work ethic after immigrating from Mexico and her mother's positive outlook. She also helped her parents achieve a Guinness World Record for the largest Coca-Cola memorabilia collection.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Samantha

01What do you attribute your success to?

My success comes from my parents. My dad moved to the States from Mexico as a teenager, worked hard, got his citizenship, and showed incredible work ethic. My mom is the most positive person, always seeing the bright side in everything. Their example of hard work and positivity has shaped who I am today.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Half the battle is just showing up, whether it's an interview, meetup, or potential lead. Once you get there, things fall into place. Also, whether you think you can or can't, either way you're right. Your mentality determines your success, so tell yourself you can and you'll surprise yourself.
