About Samantha
I graduated in 2013 from St. John's University with a degree in film and television. My goal was screenwriting, and I now work as a freelance writer and editor helping with scripts while also doing appointment setting. I started writing stories young and have been doing PR work like press kits and proposals before focusing on editing.

Rejection is part of the process so persistence is key. Keep believing in yourself and your skill set no matter how many no's you get because it's about how far you want to work at it.
02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The main challenge is interpreting vague client instructions and balancing improvements with preserving the client's authentic voice while polishing the work.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honesty and directness are most important along with creativity. When working with clients, be straightforward and polite while helping improve their work.
