Samira Ghosh

She is a dedicated advocate and nonprofit leader with over 16 years of experience supporting Asian and immigrant communities in Texas, currently serving as Director of Advocacy and Client Services at Asian Family Support Services of Austin. In this role, she leads advocacy efforts, client services, and program operations, providing critical support to individuals and families affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. She has also served as a Direct Services Advocate, working directly with clients to provide crisis intervention, case management, and culturally responsive support. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin. She is recognized as a compassionate, resilient, and mission-driven leader who is deeply committed to empowering survivors, advancing social justice, and strengthening communities through advocacy, education, and direct support.
