Her Interview
Ten minutes with Sanaz
01What do you attribute your success to?
I think my strength is my emotional EQ. I have a very strong emotional EQ, and I connect really well with people. I think that's what makes a difference for me, definitely. And be able to work with people. Enjoy working with people.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Choose something that you're passionate about. Make a difference. And I think finally, if you commit, do it. Make sure you get it done. Get it to the finish line. Either don't do it, or if you commit, commit to the finish line.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say perseverance. It's very important. Know what you want, be resilient, strong, be resilient. And love what you do. Otherwise, you won't be able to continue to do this for long.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I would say influence without authority. Because you gotta get all these people to listen to you where they don't have to really listen to you, every day. Every minute of your day, essentially.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I think integrity is number one for me, and personal. Drive and integrity. I think these are the two, even at home with my own family, I think, hard work, integrity, and drive.
