About Sandie
My work in AI consulting is really more akin to performance evaluation for organizations. We take a look at readiness and gauge the environment first, because a lot of organizations think they're ready for AI and want to jump on it, but they don't look at the people and their capabilities. We model our diagnostics after Richard Swanson's analysis for improving performance for organizations. It's a journey from understanding the relationships in the organization and asking if this is the right thing to do right now. A lot of companies don't stop and think about the attitudes and perceptions of their people. So it's really a tool to bring the whole company together on the same playing field with the same roadmap, so that once implementation begins and the tools are decided on, it's successful. People have the ability to carry out the work, they've got the tools, they understand how to do it, and there's not that anxiety that comes with new programs. But AI is different - it's not your normal change management strategy. What people don't understand is it's been here since 1950, so it's not a new thing, but people are scared and afraid of it. Our job is to make them less afraid. We also have a solutions team that will help build the solution, automation, or whatever the company roadmap calls for.
